Blog contests and giveaways are as diverse as the bloggers who host them. The rules and procedures always tend to vary since there is no set standard for running them.
This is often problematic because we're creatures of habit and people who regularly enter blog giveaways tend to put themselves on auto-pilot. That is definitely not a good thing, and has become quite a challenge for me. I just don't like using my comment form for contest entries. That's a place for us to connect and engage and I don't think that happens with comments like "Entry #1: I just subscribed."
So, after several attempts to come up with an efficient way to run my giveaways, I've settled on using Rafflecopter. You've probably seen the little widget on other blogs as well, since their popularity is growing quickly.

- Click the links that say, "Click for Instructions"
- Carefully follow the instructions listed in each box
- Click "I Did This."
You won't be allowed to move on to extra entries until you click "I Did This" on the mandatory entry. Each entry is moderated (so be sure to actually complete the entry) and your information will only be seen by me.
