Teaching Kids to Tie their Shoes (CLOSED)

Tuesday, August 10, 2010

We've got another awesome, kid-approved trial just in time for back-to-school!

I have a little one who has been eager to tie his shoes, and determined to do it his way. Now, thanks to Tie Buddies, he's raising the white flag and giving me a chance to teach him the right way to tie.

It's a win-win for both of us--he gets to have a little fun and I don't have to stress over rabbit ears, rabbit holes and all the other little details that typically leave us tangled in knots. Instead, these neat pull-tabs make it easier for tiny fingers to learn the art of tying without worrying about the loops. It's resulted in a huge confidence boost for a very independent boy who was determined to do it on his own!

From the website:
Tying your shoes is a small but essential skill, one you use for the rest of your life. Help your little one learn faster with Tie Buddies®. These cute, kid-friendly devices act as easy pull-tabs for small hands, taking messy loops out of the equation. The happy characters make a game of it, resulting in a strong knot and even stronger recall.
Donovan and I are happy to give it 5 mamas:
{1} We loved it. {2} It was kid approved. {3} It delivered what was promised. {4} At $8.99 it's worth the price. {5} It is definitely unique and creative.

But, don't take our word for it, try it for yourself! TO WIN your own set of Tie Buddies, visit the Tie Buddies site and simply leave a comment telling me whether you'd choose the fairy and magic wand set or the red and green cars set.
